Hello:

I had a skin sparing mastectomy with reconstruction, tissue expander surgery on 5/23. I am having a hard time finding a bra that doesn't bother. I had bought a few zip front sports bra, however I always have to change to the ones that they gave me after the surgery.

Any ideas where I can get/ find one. ( I do like the front zip) I find them very easy to put on and very comfortable, except the burning.

And those anyone else have burning sensation in that area ?

Any help will be great.

Thank you all

I've had several zip front sports bras with varying success. Then I saw a post on another site about the Shefit bra (it was featured on Shark Tank). I ordered one and it's great. It is very adjustable and it's been great while getting fills as I can adjust as I get bigger. I like that the band below the boob is adjustable too as some days regular ones feel tight, but this one I can adjust. I now have two of them https://shefit.com

    Good luck.

    S.

Hi, thank you so much. I'm going to check the web site now. It's been hard to find one that doesn't hurt on the surgery site and or burn.

I got the cheapest, stretchier sports bras I could find right after surgery do they could easily work for expsnders. I had my exchange and have tried about 20 different bras. Those first cheap ones are still the most comfortable. I think I got them at Wslmart and Target.

    Hi Kbee

Thank you! I bought a couple of them at Walmart, zip front, hurt on the surgery side, then went to Sears and found some also zip front, and again, hurt, so I always end up changing to the ones from the surgery.

    Is frustrating. :(

    I haven't check target, but I will.

mine were not zip front; just plain really stretchy material. Good luck finding something that works for you.
