I am happy too to hear you are doing much better Hope. Wishing you many more years.....Terri, I too just recently fell (from clumsiness not meds) and broke or very badly sprained my wrist. Haven't had an XRay yet as we had plans for a weeks vacation and i wasn't about to ruin it. Plus I just couldn't stand the thought of spending another half day dealing with medical issues. So I immobilized it myself. I can't believe how difficult it is making my life! Luckily it's feeling a little better today. happy 4th everyone and thanks once again for the update Woody.

Woody, thanks for the update. I'm happy to read that Hope is tackling projects and making plans for the future. And most of all, that she's feeling good.
Terri - I hope your wrist is healing well and prayers for you that you continue to do well!
-
Woody, thank you for keeping us updated on hope. I am thrilled to hear she is doing relatively well without treatment. I wish her many good days, weeks, months and years!
Terri and Artist - hope you are both on the mend.
-
Thanks Shutter, A little vacation and a hot tub are helping!
-
I am so sorry Terri , i did not know you stopped treatments. But i will tell you this after seeing what happened with Hope on her last treatment, i am happy she has stopped because now , she really seems better . Maybe stopping your treatment will give you a better quality of life and a lot more time. Those treatmenst are really tough . I hope you will be well on palliative and enjoy the summer. Hugs to you.
-
Artist, i hope your wrist heals well as well as Terri's. I am also glad you feel much better today.
-

Thank you for your love and wishes dor Hope and me , love is always welcome and you ladies are full of it. Wishing you all well. Artist , i hope you are better and your wrist is healed. As for my family the streak of bad news continues, i am doing the best i can , thank you for asking.
Love to all.

I'm so sorry Woody......sometimes I get so perplexed as to why life just keeps throwing more crap at people. I think about you all the time and hope things settle down soon. My wrist is getting better VERY slowly. But I just keep on doing the things I can without straining it. Mostly I miss playing my guitar.....Take care
-
Woody - sorry to hear about your family's bad news streak. Let's break that soon, and hoping for good news. Please keep us posted about Hope - rooting for her transfusion to help. FYI I'm on round #8 of ibrance+fas, now on 100 due to low WBC. Planning my Spain trip this week.
-
Woody, I hope things are looking up for Hope and your family even in the 24 hrs. since your most recent post.
I know Hope did not want any more chemo, but I can't help wondering if she would possibly reconsider going to UCLA for a current evaluation. There are some newer drugs in trial. The two I immediately think of are the CDK4/6 inhibitors (similar to Ibrance, yet also different), and who knows what else, since none of us truly have our fingers on the pulse of what's going on. Please tell Hope I would be happy to try to open doors for her there -- something I'd suggested in the past when she was having such a hard time, then chose to go to USC, as I recall. Anyway, just sharing what's on my heart!
Love to you both! Deanna

Woody, thank you again for updating us about Hope. Sorry to hear that you are going through a tough time with difficult family news. Wishing things improve for your family. I think of Hope often. Praying she can regain strength and continue to enjoy her family and friends.
-
Artist , i am glad your wrist is healing even if slowly . I understand you missing playing your guitar , I myslef am a modest guitar player my fingers are so stiff and i can no longer fiddle on it . Thank you for your wishes unfortunately we were informed today that my brother in law has only few months to live his cancer was discovered in the very last of stage 4. This so far was the worst news, the rest are undergoing treatments.
Thinking of you and wishing you healing and good response. Lots of love.
-
Hope left me a message today , she is still ok but she started having some symptoms from the skull tumor a bit tired , but still more or less ok. She keeps uping her pain meds and steroids. She will see her doctor this week and her palliative team. She may consider treatment if symptoms becomes unbearable to alleviate them. She is an amazing women.
She sends her love as i do thank you all so much for your continuous support.
Deanna, i will copy paste your message for her , thank you so much for your input and support .
Loving kindenss to all of you beautiful ladies.

Woodylb- prayers for you and Hope during this time. You both need our support and encouragement. I hope the transfusions and pain meds help Hope have better quality of life with her family. I pray your BIL does not suffer and your family pulls together. Hugs to you. Lovingkindness to all. rosevalley

Woody, I am so sorry to hear of the challenges you and your family have been facing. As others have said, it seems terribly unfair to go through any one of these issues, much less all of them. I do hope there are some silver linings, including the support of friends and family members who can help. Please know that we are thinking of you and sending good wishes for a gentler time ahead.
-
Thank you Rosevalley, i hope you doing better also and not throwing up every meal you enjoy. You are always in my prayers. Thank you for your kind support for me and my family. It has been a bad few months with 5 people dxd with different kind of cancer from my husband family and mine.
But i cannot complain to you, you already have enough on you plate . Thank you so much. Loving kindness to you and your family.
-
Bestbird,
Thank you so much for your kind and gentle words . You are right , support from family and friends is important . I hope you are well and you continue to be well.
