No falling allowed Patty! Thinking of you.....
-
Thanks Linda.... give her our love & best wishes!
-
Patty, I realized today that I hadn't seen you on the bone mets thread lately. I don't know how I've missed this thread, but reading back realized you are in so much pain. I hope your Dr's can get a handle on this for you. Hugs to you, cheers, dee

-
Wishing you peaceful summer days.
-
Patty, I hope you are feeling better. We are all hoping that things improve for you soon. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
-
-
Hi Patty, Hope things are OK and you are recouping and able to enjoy some summer with your boys. We all think of you all the time. Take care!
-
Patty, I hope you are more comfortable.
-
-
Wish you could come out here and sit on my deck with me and the cats.
-
Patty, when you're done setting on the deck with Ruth and her cats, you can watch the bunnies and the fireflies with me.
This little bunny lives under my front porch and lets me get this close. S'more is fascinated by the bunnies and watches them, but doesn't chase them.
Miss you, Madelyn.
-
Ladies such peaceful places to sit, read, relax and meditate. I love bunnies, even if they eat my plants...who cares? Patty, hope you check in again and can update us on your summer.
Hugs
Amy

After the visits at Ruth's and Madelyn's, we can go snorkeling in my backyard. You didn't know I live by the beach?
Then, we can ask this guy why he needs such a BIG hat?
-
-
Lover, you have the best photos & we all know that beach is NOT CA. .....lol.....
I have Pattys address, if anyone wants to send a card. She gave it to me last year & permission to give it out. PM me if you are interested
-
i know she hasn't felt well lately. Does anyone have an update on her?
-
Linda gave us a brief update on 6/21.Patty last visited BCO on 6/24, and on 6/28 she shared a post on FB.
-
hey sweet lady! Think about you every day. Hoping your feeling a little better. How was your 4th? We had a cookout at my mom's house. My dd was hilarious. She was the waitress for the night. I'm surprised no dishes were broken
we barley made it in time to see fireworks. They were awesome. Funny how fireworks seem to make everyone hypnotic. Young and old. Are you able to enjoy your kiddos so far this summer? I bet they just love cuddling with you!! Honestly, I don't know where you are physically and mentally. I want to be upbeat and try to help lift your spirits. Inspire you, encourage you to keep pushing through the stuff you have been dealing with. But I don't want to dismiss your feelings of anger, sorrow, frustration...I'm sure there are many more emotions. I pray for peace for your heart. Know you are loved from all over the world! Especially from nc ;

ah popped in to check on everyone and found continued love and support from y'all. I am continually amazed at the bco family. I am so tired of being the one who needs the encouragement. I am way past ready to be the encourager. Wish I could respond to each individual but just too exhausted. Love the pics and encouragement and stories of life being lived from so many of y'all. Keeps hope alive for sure.
Last week I seen mo. My pet showed increased uptake on several areas. However cancer is still only in bones and no new spots. Since it's the 3rd pet in a row to show the increase and since the pain has only increased mo and I agree time to leave ibrance : falsodex combo. We can always return back to it if Needed. Mo been pushing for taxol for awhile but I don't want my boys to remember me bald snd looking so bad. Mo and I agreed on oral exloda. Just waiting on mail in pharmacy to ship it. Looks like no copay. Yea ! It was gonna be 250 per month but mo helped me find patient assistance for copay. I had said no chemo for me period but willing to try an oral one. Who knows I may end up giving in and doing several chemos. Biggest concern on exloda is the burnjng and peeling hands and feet. Although mo says less then 30% get it, the exloda thread makes it look way more common. Just trying to take 1 day at a time. Mo says it should be way easier on my nausea and vomiting and for the pain as well. That's exciting. Wish I could say I me and family are in a better place emotionally but we are not.hoping exloda will work physically which will help mentally. Boys and I haven't done anything all summer really except hang at home by pool , go to library and go up dr visits. Dh took them to friends lake house weekends ago and they had a blast. They are like family to is and they have boys same age as ours. Lots of tubing and skiing. Many pics and videos of them smiling and actually laughing out loud. Is music to my ears and truthfully the break to be alone was good for me also. Just rested and didn't worry about cooking or getting up at any particular time. They will go again this weekend. Hopefully every other weekend Til school starts. It's only about 3 hours away but I don't think I could take the trip. Especially since the last 10 miles is gravel. Mo says no boat riding due to so many fractures in bones. Said bones lol like a sponge due to bones being eaten away by cancer. My favorite sista from Alabama will get here next Monday smd stay a week. So looking forward to spending time with her and letting her take care of cooking cleaning for a week. Only bad part is she usually cries enough to keep everyone else upset. She is always concerned It will be her last time to see me alive. I understand but need her to try and hide it from the boys. Hate to ask her to do that but they don't need more fear.
Well enough of this long book I've written. Much love and hugs to each of you.
-
on Mother's Day we watched old home videos. The boys were so young on this one and I recorded it to my phone so I could watch and hear it over and over again. Hope I know how to post it
-
Good to hear from you, Patty!
That lake house sounds like a godsend for you and your boys. Perfect summer fun for them and a respite from cooking for you.
Enjoy your sister's visit--tears and all.
Hoping your new treatment does the trick,
Tina
