Has anyone here had implant on one side and DIEP on the other?

I had bilateral exchange from expanders to implants in March and lost the implant on my radiated side in May. I'm considering DIEP when I can try again in six months. However, my PS feels I only have enough belly tissue for one side and suggests keeping the implant on the other. Has anyone here done this?

    Hi~

    I was considering the same. I have one implant - the other was removed in Dec. 2014 due to a fungal infection. I'm finally ready to do something and I was considering the DIEP but only have enough fat for one breast. From what I've heard (& ps confirmed), the two won't be a similar as I would like... I'm between going that route or going for it and having an anterolateral gap reconstruction (outer thigh free flap). This is a big surgery I have two more appointments next week. I'll ask more questions then.
