mastectomy immediate diep reconstruction women over 50

hi ladies on Monday I am having a unilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I am 57 years old. I am wondering how you all did. I am very nervous but looking forward to getting all this behind me.

    I was 57 when I had my surgery. I was also 6 weeks PFC. I survived with no complications. I live alone so my sisters helped me during the first 2 weeks. I was able to work from home part time by the 5th week. Good luck.
