    I had a mastectomy six years ago, at which time I purchased my first and only mastectomy suit. I got it from Lands End and it has lasted me six years! Six years of chlorine, water parks, water slides, pools, etc etc! It is still looking nearly brand new!

    I went to look at Lands End for another suit yesterday and they are 50% off. I bought a new mastectomy suit for $28 including shipping! Here's the one I bought - same as i had previously. (I like the basic black because the dark color makes it hard to see any discrepancies between the real side and the fake side!)     I am hoping this suit is the same quality as the one I bought six years ago. If you've tried to shop mast. suits, you know that they are usually really expensive!

    Unfortunately I have found the Land's End mastectomy swim suits to be unacceptable. Gaps, sliding around of the prosthetics, showing my chest. Instead, I find the "wear your own bra" line, while not fashionable, to be more secure. Hope this helps others. I love to swim but the humiliation of swimsuit emergencies is something none of us need.
