hi guys, so about two weeks ago I'd gone to bed woke up in agony, whole of my breast had swollen... Out of know where.. Could feel quite a large lump, went to docs had anti biotics, they referred me to breast specslist who did ultrasound thought it may be cyst or absess.. Said they couldn't see nothing no absess or cyst, but could feel lump? Had two biospys now as my first biopsy got lost apprently, I'm so stressed out, in agony constantly and so nervous for my results! Has anyone got any ideas what this could be? I'm normally a 34b in bras, my right boob is currently fitting in to double d cup from swelling!

    also had a rash on same boob around 4 weeks ago.. Thought it may be shingles but hospital said not

    Hey

    Did the antibiotics help at all? Did the pain get any better? Did the rash go away or is it still there? Did they biopsy just the lump or did they biopsy other areas?

    It could be any number of things as simple as a benign infected/clogged duct, to benign mastitis, etc. I don't want to scare you, but it could also (not as likely) be cancer. There is a type of breast cancer that presents quickly with swelling and a rash. I haven't wanted to scare you by mentioningthis possibility because it's rare, especially at your age. I was really hoping you'd have some positive news and definitive results by now.

    Do you have anyone with you? Anyone who can help you stay distracted while you're waiting?
