Is it ok to wear deodorant and antiperspirant after surgery?

I kept meaning to ask and no one said anything, i had my lumpectomy and 2 nodes removed with SNB yesterday. Feeling ok just very week and tired. Think it's ok for me to start wearing my deodorant and antiperspirant under that arm tomorrow?

I asked my Plastic Surgeon at my appointment 1 week post op and he said it was fine as long as it glided on easily and I didn't have to push on it at all. Some have suggested spray or roll on as opposed to stick.

Make sure your deodorant doesn't have aluminum, parabens or fragrance!
