this article, titled The Cancer Drugs in Your Bathroom Cabinet discusses the research - and the obstacles to research and clinical trials in the use of various over the counter and prescription drugs in cancer treatment. There are links to the ReDo project, an international collaboration to Repurpose Drugs for Oncology. Substitution for existing chemo regimens isn't being advocated - its more about supplementation to make chemo work better, to reduce inflammation etc. to cut off blood supply to the tumor etc. and to prevent cancer.
