hmmm .. Good news is my tms are better than I thought.. Following harsh pneumia and worse bone aches Ineas expecting 2000s but 15-3 is around 1000.. Having seen 3000s before I am positive we can pull it back to normal limits soon, with the probably following chemo, Navelbine.. So Xeloda dumped me after almost 4,5 years.. MO suggested Aramidex along with Navelbine.. Since I'm already on chemopause ;) well, all that to be finalised next week.

So, holiday was soo good, lungs are much better, can breathe comfortably.. :))

Guess time to remember my ancient findings on Navelbine. I'll be on pill form, thank Heavens no port yet!

I am also hopeful my numb chin syndrome to be associated with X and may resolve with change of chemo. Afterall, same drug for this long did tire me, though it was still managable..

I'm more busy with my itsy bitsy e-trade hobby more than ever! Denialand is good. Hubby warned me not to die before selling everything I stocked home, lots of shoes, bags, shirts and all haha;))

    Time to sleep

    Love all

    Ebru,

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling good and that your TM numbers are down! I hope the navelbine is goes well and keeps things in check. I hope sales are going well too!

    Love and hugs,

thanks dear Amy! Ladies, ı do wish at times I was closer. My new hobby-biz is actually quite a success.. Yet most US brands are very expensive and My mission is not to rob people, offering quality goods with budget prices. Most sellers buy stuff from US outlets and sell them with season prices..

    Anyway news time!!!!

Yesterday my MO announced after looking at all data that my mathematical and findings of medical conditions are so opposite with my physical conditon. :))) she decided to stick with Xeloda for a bit more.. Now taking 4 pills per day x 21 days on 7 off (interesting plan). Added Arimidex and Cytoxanto the medical coctail. Still doing Zoladex & Zometa. Still on Xanax & Isoptin & Cipralex. Of course, codein pills, Jurnista & Tramadol also always by my side.. ;)

My TMs are high, I have yucky level of energy, lost my appetite completely, just eat cos I have to.. Numb chin syndrome is not gone.. If I overdo anything, the pain needs morphine.. I have chemo brain, forget things, mess things up... Moody and not fun to be around me when I start shouting at anyone without any reason at all... Yet I AM ALIVE. Happy and peaceful in a weird way, having fantasies about what is beyond, while enjoying each day with my personal interests, watching Harry Potter with DS. Btw he met MO and her staff yesterday and was satistied with what he saw... I just recently had announced my illness, as he was too young to process the info before. Timing was great.

Well.. Apart from having fell down on my knees last week and seeing c-buggers on my MR scan (which was a break from my Denialand residence) things are still OK and bearable. Hope to get rid of the knee pain soon, thanking God for no broken bones..

    Hugs & love

    Hi Ebru,

So sorry to hear about the fall - I hope your knees feel better soon! I'm glad to hear that you get to stick with Xeloda a while longer. I wish you felt better physically (energy, appetite, pain, etc), but am glad your emotional state is good - happiness and peace of mind counts for a lot. : ) I'm glad business is good too! We all wish you were closer too, by the way! Sometimes, I wish we were all close enough to get together.

I'm glad you've been able to share with your son about things and that he seems to be dealing with it fairly well. It must have been difficult to not say anything about it all this time, but difficult to tell him too.

I hope you're having an enjoyable weekend!

    Love and hugs,

    Amy

    dear Amy!!!

So happy to your face each time you post. Yes.. All you wrote is exactly true! Now I can share with him when I don't feel good, ask him to find my meds around the house & and we have more quality time than ever! He gets me, I feel it. He is a strong boy. And he feels proud to have 'man upped' facing the circumstances. I feel so happy.

Btw I started this thread to share my experiences in one place, rather than on several threads.. May help reading to newbies especally..

Cytoxan is a small gun yet effective. I've just started it this week, yet feel it's working. Aromasin is no news, quite similar to Femara.. Hotflashes then feeling chilly all day long.. I loooove the chemopause!!! Haha:)))

Xeloda is my destiny I guess. Even having had a heart attack once caused bu it, it's stuck to me. The redheaded guy! ;) yes, I feel blessed to still be on my second line therapy.

Stomach feels yucky, have to take nausia pills though not very nausiated.. Helps the stomach protective pills work Better.

Fatigue and bone aches .. All day long.. Took 2 codein pills today. Guess Zometa week with new meds deserve the treat!

    Hugs

    Ebru,

As always, you are both informative and amazing! MadameX is serving me well. I have moved to 1500 two times a day, 7 days on, 7 days off. Four more days to the first cycle, but it seems to be easier to manage. Still find walking a bunch difficult. How can I return to Turkiye if I can't walk? I am figuring that out.

dear all, coup has been like a child game till now, democracy is still alive here..

Weird, I just drove DH to the next block for a meeting.. One of the main roads was blocked by the police.. This is the new normal for my country for a while I guess..

Thank you all for the good wishes, positive vibes and prayers.. We DO need it all.. Definitely not deserving all this.. Danger is still not over, though the first strike was a funny one. Hope their B C .. Plans are as bad.. :)

We have been a democratic country since early 20's and have citizens from all religions and ethnic backgrounds and SHOULD stay that way..

Meanwhile, I still have MBC.. As side dish!

    Hugs

Ebru, so glad to see your post. I can only imagine what life in Turkey has been like over the last several days, and am relieved to know that you and yours are safe and secure. I met the most amazing, warm, smart people while visiting Turkey (twice) and know that this modern and vibrant society will solve the problems and prosper. Meanwhile be safe (and well). Love SUE

Ebru, I'm glad to hear things have settled down, although the situation is still unsettling. Hopefully over time all will be just as it was.

Sending you hugs and best wishes!

    Dear Ebru,

Having been to your country in 2015, the memories of the country and airport are fresh in my mind. I am just stunned at the evil that is assaulting your country as well as the US. I truly believe that most of the people in our world are good and wonderful. I do not understand how the minority can have so much power. May things improve for all of us. Blessings to you in your medication regime- you seem like a go getter and fighter...Enjoy the detail you place in your writings. Be safe. Carolyn from Nashville, Tn. USA

Thank you for posting. You are such a good ambassador for your culture! The breakfast food looked awfully good btw.

    Dear all,

    Still alive :)

Things over here can only be summed up as black comedy.. I prefer not to watch the news.. Denialand works best.

TMs settled down.. Even the c-buggers agree the battle around is enough.. So the battle in me is bearable these days.

Having quality time with DH and DS. Still in Istanbul, cos DH is working. Parents ask when I'll be back to summer house.. Well guess staying together in Istanbul is best for now. And it's denifinetely an adventure. We cannot use main roads at times.. People pour out to protest the terrorists.. Sadly the head is in Pennsilvenia and Obama is not willing to return him in for trial.. :(

    I always hated politics.. Enough..

I will be crossing the Bosphoros Bridge the first time tonight for a friend gathering.. Hope we can make itback home safely.. I'll have parents' keys in case .. They have a hıuse on the other side..

    Anyway

    Kisses

    Ebru

    Ebru,

I did see the initial reports about the coup, but have been away for the last week. You have been on my heart and in my prayers though. I'm just getting caught up around here, so just seeing your posts on all of it. I'm glad you and yours are fine and hope that things can return to normal soon. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers - keep us posted.

    Love and hugs,

    Amy
