If I understand correctly this is only BRCA 1 mutation caused breast cancer - not ALL genetic breast cancer.
Still important info and still amazing progress but ..... I wish headlines weren't always so overly optimistic.
Also the possible side effects of the drug mentioned sound horrific - not something I would like to risk though the doctor describes it as having "very few side effects". Crazy guy - clearly acceptable to him because he isn't the one taking the drug!
They don't mention yet when a woman would need to start taking it or how long she would have to take it for.
