Hi ladies, I've been a member for awhile. I mostly just lurk. Lol I have mets to liver and lungs. I was on Navelbine but have had progression. Moving on to Gemzar. Has anyone had any luck with this chemo? Side effects? Thanks in advance!

    bkglenn54: Yes, I've been on Gemzar since early April. Just started my 3rd cycle. It's been pretty manageable for me. The main side effects have been the fatigue and some hair thinning. I was posting on another Gemzar thread that has some other info, so I'll look for that and bump it up for you so you can read through that too! How long were you on navelbine? Good luck on Gemzar!

    I was only on navelbine 6 cycles and had progression to liver and lungs.
