    I'm thankful Woody pm'd me that Diana had passed...I hadn't seen it, but knew the past few months had been very trying...even though her fighting spirit & positive attitude gave such hope that she'd pull through again. She was strong...of course, she played hockey! Thank you, Mamita, for writing, and Deanna, for sharing her life...amazing & full! The first thing that came to me was what so many also have said....Not today cancer. Nope! Even though the day came, I smiled and thought, wow! She gave it a real run, and through that time, loved, encouraged, humored, delighted & educated all of us. You will be missed, Diana...I'm sure she knew that.

    When I think of Diana, I think of her strong spirit, her wit, her caring, her will. I also think of this quote:

    Your whole life passes in front of your eyes before you die. This is called living. Terry Pratchett

    Diana brought to life that perspective. I won't forget that.
