HER2 negative PR+ and ER+

I'm not sure what that means yet...I just got a message from my Dr with the results.

    Sorry you have had to join this "club" Blueorange. Hope the attached links help with some of the info you need.

    These boards are a wealth of information and support. Ask questions. There is always someone willing to help.

    PR+, ER+ and HER2 Negative are usually quite "favourable" as far as a BC diagnosis and treatment goes.

    Yeah Smurfette,

    I was told I was ER+ PR+ and HER2-. I was told this a few weeks back. I of course had no clue what this meant but my doc said, 'well this is very good as it gives us more tools to use against it'. I now know what he was referring to was Tamoxifen. I think also I read somewhere that the prognosis of not having a recurrence is a wee bit better in ER and PR + people. I am not sure where I found this, but it was on some sort of prognosis site.

    You will be amazed how much you will learn in next few weeks just from being on this site.
