Bunnies, Bunnies, Bunnies
I'm the proud "mommy" of a free-range house rabbit that I adopted from a rescue. He's a big part of my life. Love that little guy. I don't know if there are many "bunny moms" here. I think they make wonderful animal companions for those who understand them.

So glad to see others who have bunbuns.
There have been a few days before and during the dx phase that I don't know what I would have done without my puffytail. He seems understanding when all I want to do is lay on the floor and cry and pet his little head. I'm good at being "Strong" and "Brave" around my friends and family, but with Crawford (my bunbun), I always share the real truth.

I missed this Thread. So will post here now to bring it back up.
I have always had for many yrs a 'snuggle bunny'. Until 4 yrs ago I'd had Holland Lops but got Buggsy at the Fair 4yrs ago. He is a broken black Mini Rex who weighs 3lbs 2oz. Loves to cuddle and go for walks on leash - take him with me often when I go fishing.
I now have a 2nd Mini Rex that is 2 m/o and a broken Tortoise. He's learning to be a nice snuggle bunny and learning about harness/leash in the week he's been 'home' with me from the Fair. (Last Sat Hubby insisted we had to go to the Fair and look at bunny's. Well, I didn't want to because I was sure I'd see at least one I'd love but went and saw my New Guy and Hubby bought him.)
Before I got Buggsy, all my pet bunnies have been Holland Lops 'cause I liked the lop ears. But I now like the coat of the Mini Rex and their attitude/personality better. So for me now - it's Mini Rex.
Both of my guys are ones that are from 4H kids. If anyone thinks they want a great 'bun buddy', I suggest contacting your local 4H leader(s) for info.

Kicks ~ I was so excited to see the Bunny Thread revived! Who doesn't love a bunny? Years ago, when I had my first apartment, I had in indoor bunny. He was silly and loved to play. Not too much of a snugly bunny though. Oh and he was jealous! When his new baby kitten "sister" arrived there was much rivalry. My bun was a full size Rex and easily out sized the kitten - which was good 'cuz the kitten was a little meanie!
I don't have any of my own pics to share, but I thought the other bunny fans would like this;
The video below is of Champis The Sheep-herding Rabbit! The farm ins in Sweden. Love this comment that was posted about him ...
"The farm is our neighbour in our summer house. The bunny was king of the barn. The sheep was terrified of him because he bit their legs if they didn't obey him. His best friend was a chicken..."

Love the herding bunny video!
New guy is Foo Bunny (there is a scout campfire song about 'Little Bunny Foo Foo so got shortened to Foo Bunny for new guy).
Foo Bunny is not quite as much a 'shnuggle bunny' but not bad at all - just Buggsy is such a 'shnuggle bunny' , Foo comes off 2nd as a shnuggle bunny between the 2.
Between the 2 of them, Foo was the first to learn to do 'pispiza'. (Pispiza is Lakota for prairie dog.) Sit up on back legs with front legs down to get a treat. Yeah it's silly but no sillier than a dog sitting up for a treat.
Each of them are individuals who are each themselves. Their differences only make me love them more for themselves.
Hopeing that Foo might like to try 'Rabbit Agility (similar to Dog Agility) next year. Not something Buggsy would like to do. Of well.

I saw a commercial on TV a little while ago for PetSmart that said to bring your pet in to get a picture with Santa but missed the day(s)/times(s). Called the local and found out the days/times for pet pictires. But when I said "Great! I'll bring my bunnies." the reply was "Are you sure you would be comfortable to bring bunnies into a store?". What the #*+%? My Guys go lots of places with me (including that store) and are quite comfortable in all sorts of situtations.
Bunny Power!

OOPS - Dreaded double post!

I don’t have bunnies anymore. I had a beautiful holland lop but found I was terribly allergic to him. His name was Elvis, because he shared the King’s Birthday. I did rescue for about 5 years and my specialty was bunnies. I had a pretty good release percentage. But I stopped that when work got so busy. I miss them. They were a lot of fun.
