Hi everyone. Started about a month ago with extreme itching on the top side of my left breast, a dry patch of skin on the top of my left breast, nipple is very sensitive and my left areola is suddenly bigger than my right. I am 39 years old and never had any issues before. I skipped my GP and went directly to a breast surgeon and lined up an office visit with her and a mammogram and ultrasound directly following. She decided on a puncture biopsy and canceled the mammogram and u/s. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing? This was Thursday and they said results will be in by Tuesday. I honestly don't expect good results. When I went to the appointment , I told her I was concerned it was the start of IBC and she said no, but we should screen for Pagets. Very worried and concerned!

Dear Jaime, We are so sorry that you are dealing with breast changes and the worries that accompany them. We are glad that you reached out here. Please keep us posted on what you learn. The not knowing and uncertainty is the most stressful part of all of this our members would say. We will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Let us know. The Mods
