    Warm compresses... I'll keep that idea handy. I'm wondering if I will be able to feel the heat? My breasts are completely numb!. Starting to get sensitivity on my sides and back... evidence the nerves are starting to grow back some. Nerve growth for me is very slow. After my hysterectomy, my stomach was numb from my belly button to my bottom.... 9 years later I have only a narrow band of numbness about an inch wide directly at the scar (which has faded nicely). So I guess I get an inch/year rate.

    Looking on the bright side, if I'm lucky, in 2026, when I have 10 year old foobs, I might be able to feel them! Until then, I must be concious of not accidently dipping them in a pot of soup when I cook! ;-)

    My pleasure Jacklin! I want to lift people's spirits, particularly when times are tough! I know that everyone here is here for a difficult reason. We all need humor as part of our prescriptions! I'll do my best to find the funny side to our predicaments and share when I can.

    I've always basically been a happy person. I intend to stay that way if I can.

    I like analogies, they make me laugh some time when I get these mental images! Right now in my mind, my PS "Michelangelo" is staring at my breasts, frowning with his hand on his chin. Scratching his head and thinking, well that will simply not do! We need more work on those!

    Ha ha.. ;-) here is what I look like now....

    :-) :-==

    My smile, tiny booblets, and legs...

    I'm aiming for

    :-) 8-==

    We will get there with time!

    Have a wonderful and healing day my friend!

    Weather update from TX: flooding in the area is underway! More rain is expected. Although things here are a bit of a mess, I'm fortunate to still be well above the expected crest of the river. Keep your fingers crossed for me and send prayers to those whose homes are inundated. ..we've had enough rain for the year, it can stop now......

    Update: I'm off to the doc to hopefully get my drains out! 5 weeks with these suckers is enough!

    We escaped the floods this time. No damage! Whew!

    More later.

    LRGO, please let us know how it went today. Yes, 5 weeks is an incredibly long time, you've been so patient through it all, hoping this is it and they're gone. So glad the flood waters didn't go any higher either.

    Waiting to hear, as patiently as possible....

    Arghhhh. One drain left... it is scheduled for removal on Friday. Better to keep it in (if no infections ) than to manually remove the fluid. ..

    Flood picture. It got close but has dropped 3 feet since this picture.

    check up post:

    I have completed my exchange surgery and am feeling great!. I have pesky drains again that are stubbornly producing 40 cc daily, each for 3 weeks now! My PS removes them if they stay below 30 cc daily!

    My new foobs look really good, even without nipples. The anatomical shape is so natural. Had the first round of fat grafting with exchange. Such an improvement over the shape of the TE's. The implants are very comfortable and feel almost like real boobs. They are firmer than my boobs ever were but are perky and not sagging like my old girls were. So the promise of the perky look of a twenty-something is fulfilled. I'm going to be an 80 year old with the chest of a twenty year old! I can see it now, fending off the neighborhood old geezers with my walker! ;-)

    Still have more surgeries to complete. Fat grafting repeats. Nipple reconstruction, tatoos. But so far the process has been without serious incidents and I am on track to getting back to normal.

    Hope everyone else has or is recovering well and progressing like I am.

    Woot woot! Excellent report, my friend!

    Lol!!! You always make me laugh! Beware the pervy old geezers especially!!!

    I forgot to mention to you that because of radiation, my right breast tissue expander looks wonky....Poking out in the wrong places. I'm not sure if filling it after it is all said and done would even save it. It is so pitiful looking!

    Hugs!!

    Georgia, don't let a wonky TE worry you to much. These PS's can work miracles with the squishies and surgical revisions. I know things are different with rad tissue, but speak with your surgeon and let him/her know of your concerns. If they have a strategy in mind before surgery, they can take whatever steps possible to insure a decent, if not perfect outcome. I'm hoping for perfection for you!!!
