I'm so very sorry to hear about Nancy's passing. I too have been so inspired by her love and determination. I will miss her posts. Jake, thank you. Thank you for thinking of bco. Thank you for your words in the blog. You two exemplify love. A bond so strong that it too passes all understanding. RIP sweet lady. One day we will all get to meet-"when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that wil be!" No tears, no pain, just peace

Nancy was such a lovely person. She had so much optimism and grace. Her advice was so comforting but always felt very real and authentic. She was so brave as she came to the end of her life. Her courage, beauty, love will be missed. Rest in peace dearest Nancy... Until we meet again
-
Jake, I'm so sorry for your loss of Nancy. She was one of the people here I especially noticed last year when I was first diagnosed with mets, because she was always so positive and so kind, in spite of the hard time she was going through. She will be missed and never forgotten here, that much I know for sure. My heart goes out to you.

I stopped at the mall after work and saw this sign. Of course it made me think of Nancy.

Jake, I was brought to tears again by your statement, so saddened again by Nancy's passing, but joy in my heart that in some small way I could add something pleasant to her days. Everyone here is right, you are quite a human being and she was so incredibly blessed to have you. May the rest of your days be blessed in every way. RonnieKay, was a lovely tribute. You have such a huge heart!

Our dear Nancy's amazing life will be celebrated on June 2nd, in Seattle. I'm planning to attend and would be glad to meet with any other sisters there. Please pm me if you'd like to go as "Nancy's Sisters."

Artist...I'm so happy to know it was your card that brought out Nancy's glittery personality at the end of her awake moments...such a lasting joy for all of us, I think. Shutterbug....the sign made me cry...happy tears. So special to know we are so important to each other...your posting this is so perfect. I love you all.

Yes, it is lovely and so was Nancy

I love that sign.... so perfect... Shutterbug, it's like it was put there for you to see for a reason. I think of Nancy every day, several times a day... and of Jake. The picture of her is beautiful. We were all so lucky to have her, and to have each other. XO Andrea

Oh yes Shutter, that sign is soooo perfect! I love it! That is such a gorgeous picture of Nancy, thanks Ronniekay! I love you all too!

Nancy and Jake went to Washington DC to testify at the FDA Avastin hearings about six years ago. I cheered them on from home...they were treated pretty shabbily (Richard Pazdur, who lead the proceedings) would not turn around to acknowledge them or any of the patients. Still they were not bitter. That was inspiring. Very sorry to learn Nancy has died, my condolences to her family and friends
-
Sending heartfelt condolences to you, Jake. Nancy was very loved and will be very much missed by all of us here. Deanna

seeing you smile warmed my hear dersest Nancy. Still think and talk about you each and every day..

My deepest condolences to Jake. Nancy was wonderful and I will miss her. Spreading glitter is a perfect way to remember her.

I just came across Nancy’s story and feel so heartbroken about the adoption story and I was about to send her a message telling her what a legend she is after looking at all her treatment. I am so sad to hear that she has left us. This disease is cruel.
Warm wishes from Ireland.
