I'm trying to learn about "busy breasts."

Does a "busy breast" mammogram mean an increased risk of cancer?

    Not necessarily. Some women are good at growing benign fibroadenomas and cysts but that doesn't really increase your risk. What it can do is make reading imaging more challenging and picking new changes out harder, thus it can be easier to miss something..If there was a new "real" concern it might be harder to find unless there were good comparisons done from prior mammograms or other imaging.
