8 years clear and counting.......
I think about breast cancer at this time of year when I get my annuals done. I got called back for repeat pictures and got the good news that all is clear for one more year. That makes 8 years clear now. I count every year as a blessing and hopefully will be fortunate enough to have more!

I post here because I remember going from 0 to 9 doctors, two surgeries, radiation, feeling crummy, taking medicine I hated. It was all worth it because I have been clear since 2008 and I'm here. You make the tough decisions one at a time, try to live your life a day at a time and you'll get here too.

Yay! I got my 1 year clear, MRI and mammo. Then enjoyed a trip to New York. Didn't think about cancer the entire trip which was great eapecially since last year we went to nyc in between my dx and mx and I was a totally stress case. 😎

Congratulations Mary. I appreciate you taking the time to post. I had my lumpectomy on Wednesday and I am waiting for pathology report to decide what to do next. Love to hear others are doing well!
Did you do any rads or hormonal therapy in 2008?
