Oophorectomy after bad tamoxifen side effects?

I'm facing an oophorectomy as I've now progressed to Stage IV. One of my biggest concerns is the menopausal symptoms.

With initial treatment, I went into chemopause for about 9 months, and hot flashes, mood swings, rages, and anxiety were severe. Even once my periods returned (although light), I still had awful, debilitating menopause symptoms - constant hot flashes accomplished by nausea and anxiety, many times an hour. Ever since I stopped tamoxifen several months ago, I felt so much better. Now I'm scared after ovary removal I'll feel awful again. I don't want to spend the last years of my life crying and anxious and screaming at my family for no reason!

Experiences? I'm only 33 so would be nowhere near natural menopause otherwise!
