badger, thanks for the recap. I am kind of stumped. I want to say lamp or clock but you say it doesn't need electrical or battery. Since it's not wood but organic materials also stumps me.

Do folks still do that? Mom did for me & my bro. I still have mine, not sure if he kept his.

badger, I haven't seen bronzed baby shoes in years!! There was a pair at my house--my oldest brother's--when I was a kid, but I wonder if anyone even does it anymore!! (Out of curiousity, I just searched and getting baby shoes bronzed or set in pewter etc. is still available and costs vary greatly from around $50 to $300!)
I guess that guessing bookends makes it my turn!! I'll be up awhile yet tonight and off and on tomorrow so let's get started!!

LOL yes was thinking leather shoes, and bronze which is a copper alloy. Even the felt liner on the bottom is cotton. All organic materials, non?
