(APBI) vs External Beam Radiation

Hi,

I'm going for radiation and my Radiation Oncologist suggested I should go for APBI as oppose to External Beam Radiation since the tumor is only 7mm in size. I saw the device needed to be inserted to the area and it's the size of an insuline syringe with 6 to 8 little small tubings. I'm concern that it would be a painful procedure for the insertion of that device alone. Wondering if anyone has this experience with that type of radiation?
