Wonderful update on Hope. I am glad to hear she is doing better after the transfusion and she got to be with her kids on Mother's Day. Send her more love and support! I think of her and pray for her every day. Lovingkindness to everyone.

That is wonderful news! Hope, I am so happy you are feeling better and hopefully doing some things you love. Thanks so much Woody for the update!

Thanks to all of you kind ladies, thank you for your love and kind support of Hope. She had some fever and nausea after this transfusion but yesterday she was better. Her mo suggested another chemo whichshe refused. She prefers to be on palliative until hospice becomes necessary. Right now she is able to do things with her family, and see friends no driving though but she is better much better than when she was on chemo or any treatment. Steroids are keeping her pain in control. You ladies really warm my heart and i wish each every one of you comfort and send all healing lights and lots of love.

Thank you Woody for keeping us up to date! I hope that all is well for you!
Hope, you are such a special friend and I am happy that you are feeling a little better and getting to spend time with your family and friends and your dogs!!! My goofy pal is right next to me right now and waiting to go on his walk!
I really do believe that there is a peace that passes all understanding. It sounds that you are following your heart and that is what is most important. Thinking of you and sending you and your family much love...

Just holding Hope in my heart.

Thanks for the continued updates, Woody. Hope was one of the first posters I read on BCO when I found these boards. She has touched so many here and just has a magical way about her writing that really connects with everyone and draws me in. I am happy to hear she is feeling better off treatment. Hope, I think about you often

I pray for peace, fortitude for you and your family and love to surround you all. May your days be pain free. Thinking of you and hoping for an update. Lovingkindess to you all. rosevalley

Hello dear Ladies,
I was concerned about Hope too the last few days as she was not answering my essages or phone calls. Then she replied. She had an infection in her eye and was not able to write. She has spikes of pain and plenty of pain meds. Hope is still with no treatment , she is not on hospice yet but palliative. She believes she is progressing she can see it but still she is able to be with her family and friends and enjoy them. I believe until now she is beating the odds and i pray she stays like so. I will convay your concern and love for her. She is always very touched by your concern . But BCO has become too much for her to handle this is why she stays away. Frankly i do not blame her, i cut down in half also. Be well dear ladies , love and kindness to all of yo

I will pray that God gives you his loving healing touch. I have just started Ibrance. This is my second round of breast cancer after 14 years. At first, I was in total shock for the second time around. Then I started feeling alone and isolated, but I have had to pick myself up from a dark place and hold on to my faith in God to help me get through this ordeal. Sometimes it is hours of peace and other times just minutes. All I know is that when I pray, I feel a peace that comes over my spirit and it helps me through the day and long nights. I want to pray for all the people here with cancer. God Bless
-
So sorry Sunny that you find yourself here again. Your faith in God inspires me as I have felt pretty low these days. I am trying to rediscover where exactly my faith lies.....Bless you!
-
Hi Sunny,
Glad you're reaching out and rejoining bco.
You may want to join the Ibrance topic/thread to meet others and learn more about the treatment.
If you are doing it in conjunction with Femara or Faslodex, there are special topics for both of those combinations too.
Looking forward to hearing more from you, Sunny!
healing regards, Stephanie

Hello ladies, i hope you are all well and healthy. Hope is doing well so far . Her Tms are up but her overall state is status quo. Her RBC are low but not as low as when she was in treatment , so she does not need transfusion for the time being. She appears to be beating the odds . She is doing renovation around her house and making small future plans. Frankly, since she stopped treatment she seems to be more alive. She sends her love and her gratitude for your love and support.
Babs you are welcome , i am just glad we are all still alive and hope we stay for a long time. Love to all.
-
Thank you for giving us an update. I am so happy Hope is doing well. I hope she continues that way for a long time and enjoys every moment. Sending her prayers.
-
I'm sorry to hear that Hope had to stop treatment. I loved her messages of encouragement. I too have stopped chemo even after the easy stuff of taxol & xeloda from bad se's. I fell 4 X and on the 5th fall I broke my wrist on my writing arm so did not post much. I feel much better after 3 months but do not know how long this will last with no treatment except for the bone mets and pituitary meds.
Praying for you Hope that you have plenty of time with your family and that they keep you out of pain.
Thank you Woody for the updates.
