April 28th is finally here, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to post this. I mean, just look at my stats - my cancer was multifocal, into my skin and bursting out of 10 lymph nodes. Yet here I am: still working at the same job, doing my workouts, and existing primarily on cereal, Lean Cuisines, and of course Ben & Jerry's (one must have SOME quality of life, after all!). Sure, the Arimidex is thinning my bones, I can't stay asleep for more than 2 hours at a time, and I get out of my chair like a 90-year-old – but I'm ALIVE & that's the grand payoff.

I continue to follow the torches of my BC.org heroes traveling ahead of me. Wishing health & hope to everyone here - Julie
