How to deal with big "dog ears"

Hello Everyone. I am only 10 days post op from my BMX with TE, and still have my drains. I was not adequately prepared for what I would look like post surgery. I didn't know the skin flaps would be so large, and I can deal with that, but what I knew nothing about is what my surgeon is calling "dog ears'..basically huge side boobs right under my arms (drains are coming out from underneath.) I was looking forward to wearing tank tops and camisols braless as I went through the fills, but there's no way I can with these big mounds of fat right under my arms. I know they will be removed when I do my exchange, but that's at least 5 months away. Has anyone else dealt with this that can give me ideas for minimizing how they look? I can't even put my arms down at my sides anymore because they rest on this big fat balls. I feel like I need a bra with side cups. Any help with how you dealt with this would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one!

Yes, mine are like that. Particularly the one on the side he took out a couple lymph nodes. I am already overweight, flat, with hair just starting to come back. People can think whatever they want. My reconstruction won't be until next summer, so I have some time with my dog ears. It's annoying at times, but won't last forever.
