5 years post diagnosis and NED!!!

I clearly remember the terror I felt the first day I logged on to this site. The doc had just told me, "I'm sorry, all we can do at this point is maintain, there is no cure." I was stunned and numb. I was a mom to two young children adopted from Russia and terrified of leaving them motherless again. After the shock wore off, I said hell no! The third place I visited (CTCA) offered me hope. Less than a week later, I was "ported" and starting chemo. 6 months later, I was NED and I still am today! So incredibly grateful!!!

I just saw this.... you are giving me SO MUCH HOPE!!!! What are you on medication-wise to maintain your AWESOME NED status? This is my goal. Started with 3 mets to the liver. After 3 months on ibrance I have 2 mets and those have shrunk. My next scan is in October.... I WILL GET TO NED! I have two young children also. This isn't an option. I will beat this.
