I was taken off of Arimidex because I developed a terrible allergic reaction.. I broke out in hives from head to toe. Went back to Mo and was given a sample bottle of Femara. I was told to start it when my rash was totally gone.. Well, I started it yesterday and took one pill today too.. so far so good.. when I took the Arimidex I got the rash within2 hours of taking it. Since it has been 2 days and nothing I am hoping that the Femara is agreeing with me and I can continue taking it... I do not want to jinx anything but I am thinking positively !
Anyone else have allergic reaction to Arimidex and changed to Femara? Just curious. Mo said that it was common..
