Diagnosed on 04/13/2016; IDC Grade 2 and very scared. Good evening ladies, wish we could have met under different circumstances. I have had bilateral MRI done and it indicated "background enhancement" in my other breast. Can someone explain what that is in layman terms?

    I'm sorry you are having to join us! I don't know what the "background enhancement" means, but hope you can get some answers soon. You are in the midst of a very stressful situation right now. Once you get some answers and explanations and make a treatment plan, everything will feel more manageable. Sending hugs!
