This Oscar, fujimama's husband. I had no idea as to where to start this. my wife went back home to her lord Jesus on April 4th at around 10pm. She went peacefully with all her family and some best friends being by her side. Her mother was by her side all the way till the end of this journey. I want to apologize if this is the wrong place
to bring this up. She has helped and support so many other in her long journey that I am sure I will never know how many peoples lives she changed. Thank you. She loved bring able to share and figure out what to expect from each treatment.... -
Oscar, I am so sorry for your loss, my most heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Your wife was an amazing woman and inspired many on these boards with her positivity and sheer determination. It is a sad day to know we have lost her. Sending love and light to all of her family and friends. She will be missed.
-
Oscar, thank you for letting us know. As Annie said, your wife meant a great deal to us on the boards. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

We'll miss Fujimama here too.

fujiimama's husband, I'm terribly sorry to learn of the loss of your wife. It is never easy to lose a member from these boards to this disease. I will very much miss her, she's always contributed so much to the conversations over these past several years. Please accept my deepest condolences to you, your children and the rest of your wife's family and friends. May she rest in peace
-
Oscar, thank you for letting us know of fujimama passing. May her soul rest in peace and my deepest condolences to you and the entire family. I am glad she was surrounded with her loved ones.
-
Dearest Oscar...my heart is breaking. I'm sorry your dear wife, our sister, is gone from this earth. She certainly did love & support us...all the while sharing her zest for life & her family. Her thrill in riding horses, swimming, trying new exercise programs, walking the kidlets to school...it all was shared with joy & excitement. We talked about walking Manito Park together. I wish we would've had more time with her...but really wish she'd had many more decades with you and your children. We will remember her sweet spirit...may you feel her love around you.
-
Oscar, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was not super familiar with your wife as i have not been on these boards for long. But it is always heartbreaking to hear of us losing another dear soul who has contributed so much to everyone. I wish you peace and comfort in this difficult time for you and your family.
-

Dear Nancy, I am thinking about you in hospice. I hope you are comfortable and enjoying a lovely spring. I checked your blog and your husband seems wonderful in his help and care of you. You are very deserving. Heather
-
Think of you every day Nancy! I always love your picture of you and dh on here, it sticks in my mind when I think of you. Virtual hugs sent your way. I miss your lovely and supportive posts.......
-
Nancy...getting ready to walk & just wanted you to know that each walk I take, I dedicate to you, my dear Sister. I doubt you have been to Southcenter's Seattle Chocolate's warehouse (they may have one in your north end), but there's a huge poster of people climbing Mt Rainier, during the climb for cancer research. That was you!!! People wrote amazing things on it...to me, I only see you...in the picture of your half-marathon with your SILs, on the ship with your DH, in your vow-renewal splendor...so many visions locked in my mind. See...you & your spirit are everywhere! That's the impact you have on us...now and forever. I'm wishing you peaceful moments each day...I miss you too.

Remembering you, dear Nancy!
It is wonderful to get a sense of your gutsiness through your blog and your vast heart through the eyes and words of your well-wishers here.
Wishing you well on this beautiful spring day.
Love from your sister in hospice, Stephanie

Nancy, just thinking of you today and hoping your discomfort and pain are under control. We have many similarities based on age at original diagnosis, age at mets, on the cusp of starting a family when diagnosed with mets, running including the occasional half marathon . . . and I am from Seattle. I have always looked to you as inspiration on these boards and continue to do so. Also, you have such a wonderful, supportive husband. I am amazed at his strength when I read his blog posts. Few spouses would be able to communicate through words like he does. He does a great job sharing what you are going through with all who love you.
-
Nancy,
I hope you are resting well and enjoying time with your family and friends. Sending you big hugs and smiles today!
-
Nancy
Been thinking about you pretty much on regular basis. Sending comfort and peace; your loved ones are right beside you; close. Praying you are comfortable and feeling the love.
Diana
