I've seen previous threads about it, but they are years old, so i thought i'd start a new :)

I started Arimidex 2 weeks ago and have noticed increased fuzz on my face particularly on my chin, jawline and lower cheeks. Its very light, but in places noticeable. I keep umming and erring about whether to take it off...cant do laser or electrolsys as its too light, only options are waxing or cream removals. However, I dont want to make it worse, but its embarrassing..35 year old going on 90 :(

I'm far enough out from chemo that I may be wrong and misremember, but it might be growth caused by your body healing from chemo. I'm much less hairy now that I've been on an Aromatase inhibitor for years.

I agree - this is more likely to be a chemo SE as lessened estrogen usually causes the reverse - thinning hair. Almost everyone I have seen post with this indicated the facial fuzz right after chemo. I didn't have this happen but the folks I saw who did removed it with a trimmer or depilatory and it didn't come back.

Thanks ladies, I'm going to wait for it to hopefully fall out, I'm reluctant to wax/shave it in case it grows back full on. Here's hoping 😀

I don't know if chemo is the only culprit. I do notice more myself these days, and I'm a ways out from chemo. I wonder if any/all AIs cause this with some women? Sometimes in certain light, I swear I look like Teen Wolf's mom.
