Sorry for the delay in getting back online tonight--expected to get home much earlier!!
18. Thank goodness, no, not Rocky Mt. oysters!!!
Not really on the right track. It's somewhat edible, but not something anyone eats in any kind of quantity. It's not ethnic food but it might come from other countries. Since we're fast approaching question 20, I'll provide a couple of major hints:
- It could be in liquid or solid form
- It comes from vegetation/plant, but remember it's not a vegetable.
-
I was thinking Salt, obviously I am way off. Hmmmm.
-
feelingfeline, salt is a good one, just not the right thing!!
So we can finish this round, here's another HINT: Often used for medicinal purposes, and HINT 2: It's from a tree, but not tea tree oil.
-
Epsom Salts.
-
19..Maple syru
-
May as well kill it........coconut oil
-
Hi ducky. No, not Epsom salts. I'll not count that one--I already hinted that the "thing" comes from trees but maybe our responses overlapped and you didn't see it before posting!! I'll be back in a few hours to answer the next questions!
-
ducky, somehow I saw your Epsom salt question but not the next two. No, it's not maple syrup, we did that "thing" awhile back so I'll not count it.
19. Not coconut oil either, but getting closer!! HINT: It's from a tree, but not olive, coconut, or tea tree oil. And remember, it can be in solid form also. HINT 2: It has a strong scent.
-
Lemon oil, or citronella.....whichever sounds better
-
Citronella comes in an oil, or a wax form...............probably blew it, but what the hell....
-
Ms. Ducky, citronella is not a tree and this thing comes from a tree. Change your question before Ceanna sees it!
-
I'll pretend I didn't see citronella--it's not the answer. Just one question left--anyone game to guess?
Another HINT: You'll have a fifty-fifty chance with this hint--it was one of the two tree resins given by the Three Kings!!
-
It has to be myrrh because there is Frankincense ice cream. Final answer.
-
Actually it was Frankincense or I would have taken frankincense essential oil. In #12 I had said it was rarely in ice cream (not that it wasn't ever in ice cream!). But myrrh is also a tree resin used medicinally and, although not as widely eaten as frankincense, is still a favoring, I think! I don't know much about myrrh but use frankincense essential oil frequently! Great stuff!!
Loveeroflife, I'm going to declare you the winner!!! You were just one tree away!!! You're up!!
-
Boy, that is why I don't gamble. You gave me a 50/50 chance and I still chose the wrong answer. Ha!
-
That was a tough one Ceanna! I originally thought it was vanilla until you mentioned it is rarely used in ice cream and candy.
Okay, category: person.
-
1. Man?
2. Adult?
-
1. Yes, a man; therefore, adult. I won't count #2
-
Wait........Cintronella comes from citrus........anything citrus grows on trees....................................they use the juice from the fruit..........not the fruit...............
-
That' s my story and I'm sticking with it.......LO
-
Hahahahaha. I can see the logic in that. You were making a statement and I thought you had a question for me.
I miss ML. Hope she is ok.
-
LOL.
-
I miss ML too. Is she taking a break; how's she doing?
ducky, I was curious and looked it up. Citronella actually comes from the lemon grass plant--sounds like citrus, but it's not. Who'd have thought!!!!
2. Male famous for entertainment?
-
3. Has this man held elected office?
(hi all)
-
2. Not famous for entertainment.
3. (Hi Badger!) Yes. That was fast.
-
LoL, 'tis the season.....
4. Is this man currently alive?
-
Ceanna, I am not sure how ML is doing. I sensed she was struggling with something when I saw her post on either Pattypeppermint's or Rosevalley's thread. The last time she was here she stated she was taking some times off.
-
4. No, not alive. That would be too easy. Got to make it a bit challenging for you ladies.
-
5. Was this man American?
((ML)) thinking of you.
-
6. Was he an American president
