hi all. I am still in the hospital. Starting to feel better. Yea ! The power of fluids ! So getting all IV meds : zofran, phenergan. 2 antibiotics and a pain pump. Still on cleasr liquid diet but have no appetite. Darn. I was so happy to have gained 10 lbs over the last couple months but I have lost it plus some more now. Ugh. I have been having a pity party for myself and I finally felt energetic enough to login to bco and have been truly uplifted by all your support. I sincerely feel like y'all are my life line. Don't know how I could handle this without the support of y'all. THANKS !!!
Too tired to respond to all.
Please keep me and my family in your prayers and good thoughts. It is so very hard on my family as well. ESp my dss. Wehasd thought home health was going to be able to take care of me at home but they said I was sick enough to have to go back to hospital. Really upset me but more so my dss. They worry so much about me. It's really just all to much for them to have to handle. Breaks my heart to see the sadness in their eyes and so many tears. The effects on my dss has been the hardest part of all.
Hugs to all

Patty,
Thank you for taking time to check in with us. I hope you don't mind, but I copied your post to the Bone Mets Thread because I knew everyone there is anxious to hear an update. You are missed, thought about, and loved by many people here. We are all here to support you.
You and your family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I believe in the power of prayer and hope you find relief from this misery soon so you can get home to your family.
Hugs, Lynne

You and your family are in my prayers.

Hootie hoo, I'm so happy to see you Patty!!! I'm glad you're getting all fixed up with fluids and medications. I hope that after you've been stabilized your appetite will come back. It's early spring and many yummy fruits and vegetables are coming into season.
I was looking for a photo to cheer you up. Here's a fun photo from local fair. Even the Storm Trooper looks like he's smiling!!
Tootie too, my concert is on Thursday.
Sending you so much lovingkindness, prayers and positive thoughts.
BTW, I've used Tootie Too as an homage/pun on your Hootie hoo since I'm a flutist.
XOXOXOX
Madelyn

Patty, my prayers are with you and your family. It's true that when one person gets cancer, the whole family does.

patty--so many emotions! I truly can't imagine what you are going through with your family. I will pray for your husband and your ds's! That they find the strength to put one foot in front of the other. That they find comfort in your arms when you get home. That they also find comfort in their Heavenly Fathers arms as well. There really is no way around them hurting. They love you! They are still so young and don't understand what's going on. Heck, we don't know what's going on some of the time! Just squeeze them and love on them.
I hate that you are having this crazy roller coaster ride of in and out of the hospital. You are one amazing woman! Don't go throwin in the towel just yet. Your work here on earth is not done! You may not realize it, but your family and friends are learning so much from you. You are a role model for them, and us. Have your pity party because this sucks! But dig deep to find your strength. Lean on God. He won't let you down. I am cheering for you and praying for you! You've got this my friend

Loverly. Yes please come also it looks so yummy
Chevy. I miss you so much. I love your morning wakeup post. Always gets my mind off cancer and almost always makes me laugh.
I am still here in the hospital. Feeling stronger every day. I had a horrible night last night. Somehow we got my zofran and pheneran on a schedule of only 2 hours apart but can only take them every 6 hours. So from 1-4 I vomited so much. Finally was time for zofran but it didn't help so ,2 more hours of vomiting. No sleep. Finally got it back under control and vomiting has stopped.
Thanks for the support friends

I need help please. Somehow I get an email everyone someone post on threads. How do I turn that off ?
-
Hey there Patty! Good to hear you are a bit better. To turn off email notification, go to menu and under your favorite topic there should be an option to turn off the notification for the one you have been getting emails. I'm on my lunch break and this is what I am having.
Seafood noodle soup.

Hi Patty,
Got your PM. The concert was between 10:30 and 12:15 Eastern time.
My voice coach came to listen.
Here's the program. I played the Bach Sonata on flute. Then I sang two Ave Maria's and my own composition.
I played and sang for you. You were with me in spirit.
XOXOXOX
Madelyn

Hi little Sister.... I am always here.... Just whistle! Just still trying to feel 1/2 way normal after this Asthma & Bronchitis wreaked havoc on my whole self! DANG I was sick! I mean I wasn't throwing up, like you were, but just hard to breathe without wheezing & coughing.... You know...I think it's because I am older maybe? (Now all of you can get up off the floor and stop laughing)
And I'm staying out of the Chicken coop, and not fooling around with the Chicken neighbor's cat-box... I don't think those prairie folk ever heard of occasionally cleaning out a cat-box! Not to mention EVER cleaning out a coop with 5 years of hay, straw, feathers, & waste! Eeeeewwwww!
Just come here.... You and I can be sick together.... except I hate throwing up.... Wish you weren't either.... would it be possible for them to bring you a chocolate coke? with ice? I just know that would fix you up.
Love you oh sickly one.... xoxoxoxo
We are getting winter weather warnings! Maybe 12 inches? So wait until after this week-end to come out here.....
