Strontium Citrate and estrogen receptive breast cancer

Medicating

I have survived estrogen receptive breast cancer three times since 1998. The first time I juiced/fasted, took supplements, medicinal mushrooms, Essiac Tea, and cleanses for an almond sized tumor. Was good until 2005-6 when it returned and had to have chemo, surgery, radiation. and chemo again. Was good again until 2011 when returned and metastasized to lungs & liver. I'm considered a "walking-talking miracle" by my oncologist. I am in my early 70's and quite active. NOTE: If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten a simple lumpectomy in 1998 and THEN juiced and followed up with all of the holistic care....but I was stubborn. :(

Presently on Letrozole shots along with Ibrance capsules protocol, which I seem to be handling fairly well. Nutrition and holistic health care were an avocation of mine for over 40 years, so I have been able to nutritionally handle most side effects. I take a food based calcium and would like to take strontium citrate, but cannot find any definitive info on whether it is acceptable with ER breast cancer treatment. My oncologist is one of the best in the world, however, he knows nothing about nutrition. QUESTION: Is Strontium Citrate safe to use with ER BC?

    Great question, and sorry to hear all that you are going through. We'll look around as well, as it appears that we don't have any content on that on our site. However, perhaps worth asking a specialized nutritionist, with experience in breast cancer?

    I have the same question about Stontium Citrate. I want to take Algae Cal with the trontium but need to know if this supplement is safe for HR/PR positive breast cancer patients. Any feedback on this subject?
