How is that TV screen working for you? I have a 50 in my living room and my wife wants a 70in to watch football on. Oh boy....
Patti how did you do at keeping busy today? Any out of the blue phone calls?
Night ladies

I love it. I went from a 36 inch to a 55 inch.
Now I just wish they would call with my mammogram and ultrasound results
-
That sounds like me. I went from 32 to 50. It was huge when I first got it. We always TV shop on black Friday. 50" for 250!!!!! Lol. Try to do something to make you busy. The wait is forever. But don't watch the clock. Mine was 72 hours. (And I called my docs office everyday to see if the results were in. 😉). She said if it made me feel better to call everyday that's what they were there for. So I did. I can't say it made me feel better though. Keep breathing.

Hi Brandy! I do agree with vbishop, the fact that they didn't have the radiologist over specifics with you is a pretty good sign. Most times they are showing you the areas of concern, giving you your birad number and even possibly scheduling you for a biopsy right away. Unless this facility does things different and they want to compare films first, I don't know...that would make me go insane though. In the meantime, take it as a positive!😃
Way to go as far as buying "a little something for yourself"!!! A tv!!! I bought chocolate ice cream! Now I feel like I ripped myself off....maybe I could've spent a little more on money!😂😂😂
Still waiting on my biopsy results....could be today!?? Ugh...and the waiting gets more intense with every hour. I've notice I've become a little "snappy" and inpatient with the family. I'm sure they understand but I can tell I'm not myself. I keep apologizing.😥
-
thank you I will call them Friday and see if they r back yet.
-
its ok to be snappy. This is stressful stuff patti. Big hugs..
She took some pictures then said she needed more views. So maybe she saw something.
They want to compare with m old mammogram.
-
chipsy, I did well at keeping busy...got my nails done, did a little shopping and my daughter came over so we chatted a lot and didnt even bring the subject up much- instead we got to talk about her life which when you are 22 itsso much more fun and drama filled.😳😏
This morning I feel a little sick to my stomach because something tells me today is the day. She said to expect Friday but I'm feeling today for some reason. Maybe I dreamt it last night...who knows. All I know is if my mom calls me one more time from out of state asking if I heard anything I will lose it! I love her but just as I get a moment of the day where I'm not thinking about it, she will bring me right back into worry mode. I'm sure it's because she lost HER breast to cancer....she is scared. Today I have nothing to do...I have to change that or I will be staring at this phone all day!!😩
-
oh boy. I had a follow up with my surgeon today for my lumpectomy. She explained I have a rare tumor that has a tendency to grow back. So even though it is benign she recommended a bilateral mastectomy for preventative measures. I have a family history of breast cancer. Or I can have a second surgery to MORE tissue.
Did you get your call today? I bet spending time with your daughter was exactly what you needed yesterday. And of course shopping therapy never hurt anyone! Let us know when you hear something.

Wasn't it Tom Petty whose line of the song rings so true....."The waiting is the hardest part." After many breast biopsies and having waited many times for the call, I likened it to sitting on the side of a great precipice and wondering if I was "going in" or was going to be able to stand up, gather my things, and walk away. Walked away several times, except for the last time, when my doc called me on a Friday afternoon from his conference in Saudi Arabia, I knew his next sentence wasn't gonna be good. Just had nipple recon last week, so I'm at the end of this part of this life -journey detour. Best wishes.Breathe and maybe a little shopping.
-
Chipsy I'm so sorry... I never knew a benign tumor diagnosis could STILL lead to a recommended bilateral mastectomy. I'm sure it's a lot to take in
-
Patti, did you hear anything?
-
I'm so sorry Chipsy, I did but I posted a new thread about it 😊 I got the call on Thursday and she said it was just a fibroadenoma that really mimicked cancer in the films. She said normallyshe can spot one very easily and she puts people's minds at ease but mine was very questionable.

oh good news. Great news! That is just wonderful! I'm so happy for you!
