Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if there's already a thread for this..I'm too out of it to go search for it. I just had tissue expanders put in yesterday. I'm pretty shocked at how much it's hurting. It hurts to breathe in just slightly deep. It hurts to get out of and in bed. I can hardly wipe myself! I'm starting to really regret doing this. Please tell me it gets better.

It gets better. You just had them put in. For some most of it goes away after a few weeks and for others it still lingers on. After a bit from resting, do some light stretches to help stretch your pecs. If you really need pain pills, then take them. It'll never be comfortable imo as they are heavy, but it gets better. Just keep the light at the end of the tunnel in view toward the perm implants going in once you are done with tx. Good luck.
