Hi everyone,

Got the call this afternoon from BS.. Surgery was exactly a week ago today and the pathology results were back.. My heart started racing and I began to sweat.... She said it was the best scenario we could ask for... No lymph involvement, clean margins. Stage 1, Grade 1. Wow, what a relief! I am hoping that his news will allow me to forgo chemo. I have an appointment set up with the oncologist next Wednesday April 8 and I guess I will get all the options at that time...

BTW, thanks to everyone who responded to my request for comfortable bra suggestions. I went to Macys today and must found the Bali one that a few of you had recommended. They were marked $39 each but were on sale for $12.99.. I bought 4 of them! I couldn't wait to get home and put them on. Has anyone ever rushed home to put ON a bra? LOL What a difference! So comfortable..

So overall, I would say that today was a good day! I hope all of you are having a good day too!

Delighted for you. Similar to my report so hopefully you will also get a low Oncotype score. Clear margins and no node involvement are also big advantages. Radiation will probably be your next step and once that's over, its onwards and upwards. Hopefully you will sail through, I finished on 1st March and one month later, I'm slowly starting to feel like myself again and really looking forward to the Summer.

So very happy for your path report! I am also Stage 1a Grade 1 with a 17 oncotype score. Chemo was not recommended for me. I have 33 rad treatments and tamoxifen for 5 years. I hope you continue to receive good news!
