2nd Dx for HER2+ BC

In 1/2014 at the age of 38 I was diagnosed with stage IV HER2+BC. Have been clear since my last CT/PET up to 12/2015. Just began (3/2016) experiencing head aches which I thought was a sinus infection. Turns out it's brain mets. Onc is recommending wbrt and Tykerb. Just trying to get others thoughts - im now 40 yrs old with a hUSB an and 4 yr. old daughter. I go in for a full body CT/PET scan in the morning. I'm scared and can't decide between this and a clinical trial. Located in Parker, CO

    Uuugh. Sorry you are dealing with this. Gettign a few opinions might help. If you hop onto the stave IV board, I think there may be a brain mets thread and there may be more who can give you information on the pros and cons of your options.
