    Hi, and good morning ladies.............Hi Aly, and hello Shellshine.................Lord if you all go back a few years you will see how much stupid shit people have said over the years......................I'm here 5, and think I have heard it all....................right Aly......LOL.........but the best one was "oh you got the good cancer"..............

    And as far as Jolie goes......don't even get me started on that subject.......that is really a thorn in my side........my comment to that was.......she had a choice.....Did we.....she had time to plan...Did we.....she had the best money could buy....Did all of us........did she go through Chemo, Rads, Tamo, Femara, Arimidex.....Aches, Pains.......burnt by rads.......I think not.............and did she go through Hospice.....or a funeral........that would be a no..........so please stop calling her heroic..........she was one of the lucky ones.........now everyone can yell at me for my opinion........sorry that is how I feel........love you all........

    hahaha yes it was chocolate with chocolate shavings. But the saving grace was a brown pillow case. But the laugh was well worth it. !!!! thank you... Cara

    duckyb1- heroic, agreed.... Proactive is a good description... In any event night and day.... Honestly, I have said looking back over the past few months, the surgery was the easy decision. Doing all of this everyday is the hard work. (I say that not to hurt feelings or diminish surgery; it was "no walk in the park!" With surgery the Drs were cleaning out the cancer. With all of these treatments we are walking though an insurance policy that may or may not pay off in the long run. Night and day....

    Eliz.....agree..........the surgery was not bad........I even came through Rads unscathed but the Femara/Letrozole took a toll on my that I can't even begin to explain...finally after 4 of the 5 years I was to stay on it I quit...........I felt. QOL was better then quantity.........it beat me up............after going off it I felt better, but was dumb enough to try. Arimidex next..............well I got worse SE's from that one, and some never went away...........at least after stopping Femara I felt so much better...........should have never tried Arimidex but wanted to give myself every chance by doing it..........still have some of the SE's......but not as bad as when I was on it..........I stopped Arimidex after 1 month, and still have a bottle full which will get thrown out..........

    So we all have our stories my experience with AI's was a bad one.....some do well......most don't.......can't kill your estrogen, and not expect to pay the price.......

    One positive.......my thinning hair did come back pretty full again, which is good......hugs, and nice to meet you Eliz........

    morning, we'll got my mo appt on monday, i am considered long time follow up as it is 8 years and I know that sounds good and it is. Thing is everything bad this last year has been on my cancer side, all the stenosis and even the dumb pulled s'more shoulder thing this last week. Have had lots of dumb pains on my side so heading to crazy town for a couple of days

    Hoping I am over reacting, would welcome some folks in my pocket monday

    The fact that this disease is so individual to each of us makes it more difficult to fight for patients and Drs. This is an uphill battle across the board. Completely dreading antiestrogen Treatment!

    pixie, i always try to focus on a treat after my mo visits but this time just trying to decide if I need my cane to walk back to my docs office monday, geezer but coffee sounds good to me

    well said Ducky!!! Being a "previvor" is very different than being a survivor!!!! Maybe its not a choice they wanted to make, but at least it was NOT cancer (yet)!!!

    Good luck proud... Good morning all..Just back from the gym I'm so tired of walking on their track, I feel like I'm on a hamster wheel. But it's the only thing that is keeping me somewhat sane these days.


    I'm getting ready to grind up some Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee beans any takers for a cup of coffee? I sure could use the company...

    I guess my bad day just went down the crapper the rest of the way.. I went to join a triple negative breast cancer support group on FB and it showed pending then I refreshed my page and it disappeared. FB help said the group is there but that they must have blocked me. Some support group that is. And all I did was click join the group. I guess that calls for a root beer float.

    Pixie...that just plain stinks!!!

    Alyson....the asparagus car reminds me of the flinstone mobile for some reason, even though they don't look anything alike...either that or the log car for the log flume ride at amusement parks....

    Back from spine doc visit, he is basically down with my current plan, he clarified the meds side effects and I am going to continue my basic plan for a bit it is up to me on when,to go to the shots,

    Feel better now but the social worker at the cancer center did call me back as my onco asker her to do as I was so set

    Gees i a, no good at this shit but spine guy says I can try thr shot and stop if they do not work anyhow

    Good news Iris. Glad the spine doc agreed with the plan. Tough decision about the shots.
