About to lose my mind
Hello everyone,
I've bn larking for a gd little while reading post n responding to sum. My journey started all over again in January of this yr it started with my gyn ask if i had gotten the lump on my breast lkd at n i hadnt (was lost abt wat she was tlkn abt) thts y i hadnt. Went in to get a mammogram n ultra sound dne they couldnt find the lump tht she was tlkn abt. While there i was tell the tech that i wss hvn sum problems with my left breast itching burning stinging 2cm frm the nipple area. The tech n the radiologist did see something on the ultrasound but not seen on the mammo. They wntd me to see the breast surgeon which took abt two wks to get in to see, when i finally saw him he did a ultrasound core needle biopsy tht same day. A wk later i went in to get results it was CSL. So surgery i went had a wired guided ultrasound excisional bisopy dne on march 9th im exactly one wk out today frm hvn it i dnt go bck for my post opuntil nxt wk march 23rd n to get pathology report. The waiting is killing me it seems like foreva tryn to be patient. Im sayn to mysel i guess no news means gd news i guess.
Sry my story is so long needed vent a little.
Has anyone waited two wks for results to come bck for csl and bck malignant.

Hi Libra, I have had two biopsies (both benign, thank God!). thankfully I have never waited two weeks for results but I know some gals on here who have. Some facilities are just faster than others. Usually the bigger more well know facilities are faster. Anyway, don't read anything into it. I have also had situations where one modality showed something and another didn't. Remember the GREAT majority of these things are benign. I will be thinking of you. Let us know. Go out, take a walk, have lunch with a friend. Distract yourself anyway you can. Blessings. Mary
