10 years...
May will mark 10 years since being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Just got word of NED on my latest round of scans. Not due again until June.
NEVER thought I would see this. My kids are 13 and 11 and were babies when I was diagnosed.
Hope this provides a ray of sunlight to those dealing with a new diagnosis.
Best Wishes to all
~Jan

Absolutely awesome. You keep counting.
-
It does indeed!

That is really good news, Jan and gives us much hope. I want to ask Kandy how long it took the Faslodex to start working. Our diagnoses are very similar and we both had recurrence at similar times, although my recurrence wasn't diagnosed right away. I just started 2 months ago and my CA 15-3 has gone up 50 each month. Thanks-KLee

congrats Jan. Hope you stary NED

Hi
Ladies. I'm having a extremely hard time.
Figuring out my dx treatment plan. I have two opions now. One just change my meds To Imbrance and some other med ,not yet really sure waiting for the rest of the path report.
The other opion surgery for the node and Radiation on that area. This would be x 3 for rads and Change the meds.
I'm petrified of being off of Aromasin even though it has not kept me from reccurrence.
I have noticed that many stage 1 breast cancer survivors have had longer remission if treated before 2004.
Maybe I should have had the Red death with my chemo the first time.
I am worried because mine is so weird Or is it .
I had been dx'd and told only a 4% chance of returning. 2009 now on my 4 reccurrence. I'm sitting wondering who it's 3rd times a charm 4th well. Anyways.
2015 in my skin locally rads seemed to work until now.
I have never had nodes envolvement as far as I know.
Stranger yet the opposite side. B/l. Where's the primary or is this my mets . Traveled and landed in my armpit. Hmmmm
Thanks for listening.
Congrats on your 10yr Mark !!!
