I almost said envelope but then I searched and found out that they are very old and then from there I went to postal stamps and looked up the age of those. We'll see.
-
Another vote for "postage stamp" in the sense of something that the sender affixed to their outgoing mail.
If so.....I'd say a resounding NO to individual household members having their own....
-
where have you been all day ???
-
Yay!!!! Yes, a postage stamp!!!! If you want to know more about postage and how stamps came to be, here's the Wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postage_stamp
Whew!! It was tough to answer some of the questions!!! We often buy stamps in books and they can be anywhere around a house or office, business, or anywhere. I keep mine in my purse which could be in any room in my house or with me on the road, but usually not the bathroom or bedroom!!! They are outside briefly when in transit, or in mailboxes! One could frame or collection certain stamps and even use them as decorations!!! They are made of paper, but the adhesives and inks probably contain non-natural material. You had me going for awhile!!

Out gardening and inside negotiating peace treaties between The Boy Cat and the Girl Cat.
-
did you work out a treaty? And did the sign it
-
Queen, I was thinking about when individuals share a house or apartment. Each might have their own personal supplies. I know when I shared a rental in college, it would not have worked to have a shared bunch of stamps!!! Not that college kids probably use much postage anymore--most would use electronic communication and bill paying.
-
Ceanna: fair enough. So, who do you tap for the next game? (not me--MusicLover?)
Susan: no treaty yet. Both Le Chat et La Chatte are totally squinty eyed and suspicious-like of one another, though will sqoootch up to ME the bald monkey.
