Power of Daily Prayer

Dear Lord, Help those of us who are suffering or facing difficult decisions. Help relieve the pain and guide us in the right direction. Bless our loved ones and caretakers who patiently help and comfort us and stay by our sides in the good times as well on as our worst days. Help our doctors and give them the compassion and strength to continue to provide us with the best care available. Show the researchers the path to better treatments and a cure for this disease that effects so many good people. Bless the women and men on these boards who so willingly share their love and support with each other. Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us yet another day to enjoy the life that You have given us.

What a lovely idea! Not always up at 10pm, but will say a prayer every day as close as I can, or maybe we can have morning and evening prayers? 10 am and 10 pm. Don't know specific Roman Catholic, Jewish, Muslim prayers but sure know Protestant/Christian spiritual prayers; I think all prayers to the Holy One (whoever we know that to be) are prayers for all.

For now - I offer up prayers for all who are going through this difficult experience, for relief from pain and fear, for restful, restoring, healing sleep, thanks for those who love and care for us on good days and bad days, and that we all feel the strong loving arms of our Lord God holding and supporting His beloved children.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for giving us yet another day to share Your love and our blessings with our families and friends. Give us strength to get through the challenges we face. Give comfort and relief for those in pain. Wrap Your loving arms around the families and loved ones of those who have lost their lives to this terrible disease. Help them in their time of grief and dispair. Lift up those who who are losing hope and those who are trying to cope with their new diagnosis. Help us stay strong together in our faith. Amen.

Lord, We continue to lose our brothers and sisters on this board and throughout the world. The recent losses lay heavy in our hearts. Help us to understand. Please comfort their families and love ones as they mourn the losses that seem unbearable to them. Comfort those of us on these boards who also feel the pain. You have given us the gift of love for each other, but that very gift makes the loss of our family members and friends painful. When our time comes to join you for eternity, we do not want our loved ones to suffer. Give them comfort and help others here on earth surround them with love, hope, and support. Father, I try to live a good life, but I have come to hate cancer and what it does to so many people. Please guide the researchers to a cure so future generations do not have to suffer as so many are suffering today. Amen
