Waiting for information from Surgeons

I don't know if this is a common problem, but I am wondering if it takes time for the surgeons to get together to form a plan. I spoke with the general surgeon in February and had the consultation with the plastic surgeon on March 3rd. I haven't heard back from either of them as of today (3-9-16). Do I call the general surgeon to get information or do I wait until they call me? Also, what is a good time frame to start worrying ? I was diagnosed back in January and would like to get this taken care of as soon as possible. Thanks for any tips.

If there is one thing I have learned , don't count on doctors calling you...when in doubt call their office.

Well, have a (tentative) surgery date of March 16th. Tentative because they are not sure they have all the pre-authorization. This sh** is about to get real again.
