i have read reports stating cell divide every 2 months. So it takes years to show as a lump/mass. But in this scenario... saying on average they divide in this way... does it slow down remarkably as breast surgery is not considered a medical emergency therefore they allow you weeks to decide on treatment.

But lets say you first find a 1cm lump does that mean on average two to three months later your lump could be 2cm and then after that it is 4cm possibly and so on if you recieve no treatment

Baring in mind an average idc component. However even in slow growing carcinoma it continues to grow remarkably once it gets to a certain size (exponentially) if you bury your head in the sand

... tomorrow have appointment but if they do not have results thy said i would be bumped

Will be two weeks from excision tomorrow and the first biopsy took that time so expecting might be bumped. Not sure if an excisional is faster because they have the whole specimen now

You will have to forgive me for these continuous stressed questions but i am sticking to the right forum areas I hope

You posted a while ago that the path. report showded a benign issue - not IDC. Was there a later change in the report?

came back intraductal papilloma but they excise them and check the whole thing. Reports and studies state 1-29% of benign papillomas upon excision are upgraded to atypical or malignant

Had excision 2 weeks ago and awaiting results
