Bad cold 3 weeks after last chemo
Hi everyone, I just had my 3 week follow up with my MO last Thursday (3rd) and that night I started coming down with a cold. I went to work on Friday but it got worse over the weekend. My WBC count was up in the normal range when I went to my appointment but I am not sure if I should call my MO about this or just treat it like a regular cold when I wasn't a chemo patient. I didn't have any infections the whole 12 weeks while I was doing my treatments and then bang I get his with this. What are your thoughts?

Hope you feel better soon,. I have my 3 week follow up appointment today at 2:15 and I'll ask, besides I need to know the whys and what for of when I need to call him too.

The chemo should be gone by now, wbc ok too. You could check in with MO, or PCP.

I asked my dr what if I catch the flu tomorrow and he said I should call my primary dr.

WBC can be off for at least a year after chemo.
