Rosieo, yes, you simply drop them under your tongue. Tastes pretty horrible, but the benefits outweigh the bad taste
-
Dear Rosieo no question is bugging me I know how new this all is and it's important we get it right. So the oil is pretty thick I put a rice size grain on my finger and just swallow it. I like it in capsules because it tastes like licking an ashtray. Have some water handy.

I wanted to let everyone know that after one month of high CBD/low THC MJ use, my pain has really improved. I got up this am and was very surprised I could walk fairly normal. I have a hip that badly needs replacement, which was put off from Big C so I can barely walk. I need some scar tissue removed from my implant surgery too, My right Foob has really scarred down in the armpit where they did an ALND and I'm waiting for more reconstruction.
So I have lots of pain. When something comes around and makes it noticeably better that's a big deal.
I've been using about 1 month, and go through no more than a gram a week. I'll admit that smoking CBD pot (at least my current bud) is kinda nasty compared to high THC. Because the dispensery didn't have good high CBD bud this time (it's flying off the shelves here) I had to mix no THC with a lower THC to get the 4:1 ratio. I believe it's working. I doubt it's enough to impact tumor growth, but need a card for medical MJ products
-
Thanks Chelle and Wendy
I got It ;-) Now my problem is do I take the CBD oil or not. I am doing chemo. Will it interfere
with the chemo doing its job? I know my oncologist will not be receptive.
Thanks again so much for all your help

Rosieo,
I'd first ask if you've smoked MJ before? Then you know what to expect from the high. If not, have someone with you experienced in it's use for 5-10 times. It shouldn't do anything but make chemo symptoms easier. Your tumor is ER+ so right now you want a high CBD/ low THC product. 4:1 is perfect, but there's a 3:1 strain I really like and my consulting DO shared was OK.
My Pain Management specialist hooked me up with his brother who's a specialist in breast and other women's cancer Oncology. I talked with him at length last week. He's also a strong advocate of medical MJ. Particularly CBD's. It's known you need a little THC for killing tumors, It's assumed high THC could stimulate ER+ tumors to grow, thus the recommended ratios of CBD/THC. It's under study and could change, but I'm not taking the risk. A triple negative could.
Go for a potent source, like oils. I'm stuck with leaf until I get my MM card, which I'll do in the next few months. There's a lot of knowledgable people in medical cannibus use, and they're excellent resources too

According to my MO I am this time with the metastic breast cancer almost triple negative.
Would only taking the CBD oil be advantegious ? THC is what you get when you smoke
marijuana, Yes? You say the THC is needed to kill the tumors.
The CBD oil I can get. It is legal. The THC is not legal where I live. I would like to try the
CBD oil, even though I am getting chemo, but not sure if it will intefere with the chemo or not.
Thanks Ladies, for all the info .

Rosieo, I think I would check with your onc.
I'm doing CBD Hemp oil. No THC. I have some capsules with THC in them and I have a vapor thing to smoke, it has THC in it as well. I am only doing the Hemp Oil at this time. Sort of scared to do the THC, as too much can cause the cancer to grow. I think the capsules I have are 10 mg. I want to only use one thing, so IF it does work, I'll know which one does. I also wonder how long one has to use it, to see a change.

Goldie,
Thanks for you input. We're all looking for answers as to how much of what parts of the marijuana plant we need to slow down or stop cancer. I'll query my Pain Management Dr. next week. Since I'm stuck with leaf until after I complete several surgeries (don't want to have MJ use documented I haven't been searching very much. Maybe we need to contact the cannibus and cancer researchers directly. You'd be surprised how willing some are to help. Government salaries mean they're accepting lower pay for a commitment to helping others.
It's just a thought. I got a referral to the head of Breast Cancer molecular biology who are studying causes of loss of e-Cadherin, which causes lobular breast cancer and several gastric cancers too.
For many of us, speaking to our MOs about MJ use would be a big mistake. So we need to find supportive professionals to help
-
Leslie
I agree. There is no sense even mentioned it to our MO.
Perhaps you can check with the referral you recieved for BC Biology. That would be super great.
Thanks for your input

So hoping we can see some progress here. I've only been using for about a week. I guess I should write that down on my calendar. I'm also taking tbsp. a day of Braggs ACV with the Mother. I have some nails lifting from the Xeloda. I also put some under the nails that are lifting. I'll try and post some pictures of the products I have. At a trade show I attended, they said they can ship the Hemp oil anywhere, as it's not illegal. No THC in it.
-
Goldie that's great I'm hoping that a few ladies here get some good results. It's our own clinical trial so to speak. The oil that does not contain THC ( hemp oil ) is not the same as the pheonix tears eh. I've read that the THC needs to be present in order to get the full effect. I have some of the hemp oil taste pretty good I use it for salads. Maybe you are talking about the CBD oil or tincture? Picks would definitely help. Anyway I wish you the best of luck.
So I have been off of the tamoxifen for three weeks now and I worried initially that my breast tumour would go nuts and increase in size again. I will see my oncologist tomorrow for a complete physical for this clinical trial I'm going to take part in. My tumour I believe has shrunk again I will have numbers tomorrow. All I'm doing is CBD to THC lots of cucumerin and maple syrup and baking soda mixture. The latter came to me from a fellow I met on line who's wife is stage four with liver Mets and was sent home to die. He started the maple syrup things and all tumours are shrinking. I know it smells of snake oil but like I said before I would eat dog poop if it would rid me of cancer.

Bumping for newslady...

Leslie, my MO is ok with me trying MMJ. He said as long as I stick with traditional treatment too. I'm currently on Xeloda and if that quits working I have to move to Ibrance, it's then that he said he would rather I didn't' do the MMJ.
Wendy, it was hemp oil that I was doing. Unfortunately I quit cuz my TM's went up. Not sure that's the reason why, but I quit.
Thanks for the bump DLB.
I did try to take some pictures of what I have, but they didn't turn out well. I'll try again. I go Monday to get me a medical MMJ card, and will probably pick me up some edibles!
-
Ok, here is the hemp oil.
And the capsules...
I have a vapor thing too, but can't find it!
