Not sure, but if you know duration and distance, you can add swimming info to the "Track your exercise" option on the Fitbit app.

well, didn't do too bad in my half marathon this weekend. It was pouring rain and icy and I still got my best time ever. 2.24. I'll take it! And I owe it all to you warrior sisters! Thank you!

How great! I have a sore knee (icing it with a bag of peas as I write), so I've been going slowly this weekend.

Littleblueflowers, congrats on your race! I can't imagine being out that long in that weather! It's making me cold just to think about it.

Ksusan, sorry about your knee. I hope it improves quickly.

My Fitbit totals for the week are 57 miles and 447 "floors", which basically means I gained 4470 feet in elevation going up hills.

Go, Alice! My Fitbit is basic and doesn't do elevation.

Congrats, littleblue! I've had a quiet week, nursing my puffy LE arm and torso, but I'm back in the gym tomorrow

Congrats Jen! I am so impressed!!! Your best time, in the icy rain, after a year of BC tx. You rock, woman!

Ks- so sorry about the knee. Ice is good, it must be hard to slow you down for a whole weekend!

Newgirl- that's a great start getting back into the gym! An hour on the elliptical! Wow!

And nice report in, Alice! Keep it the good work!

I am still reading and trying to stay connected here, though my attempts and results are noteworthy only in that I have not completely given up. My goals have been reframed and reduced over and over, but I still try. The months I spent ill and sedentary before BC dx with another illness, tx itself, and now hormone therapy have out me in another category altogether, but I love to hear how you are all doing, and cheering you on

Wow Jen amazing!!! What an accomplishment!

So good to see you here Katy! I hear you about goals being reframed over and over again. For me it always seems to be few steps forward and some steps backwards, but I try to keep going! So I'm cheering you on Katy! Wherever you'restarting at...get moving a little...gradually you'll get there...I know you can do it 😊

Katy, fitness is a mind game. Clearly you can bench press mountains with your strong mind! Keep that going!

Spent the weekend in Yosemite and for some reason walking is always easier there! The weather was gorgeous, which helped...I did 3 miles on Saturday, 6.5 miles on Sunday, and 4 miles today....I'd like to get up a little higher, but that's pretty good compared to my recent averages...Here's a little inspiration from the trail.....

octogirl, gorgeous pics. I haven't been to Yosemite in a few years, and it is beautiful.

Back in Bike ride mode, managed 80 miles in the past week. So glad to be back in my groove after the funeral trip.

Thanks for the photos, Octo. I haven't been to Yosemite in a couple of years. It's a little too far to do as a day trip. I've done Half Dome several times. Cloud's Rest is still on my list. Maybe late this year!

Good to see you back T. ((((((Hugs))))))

Oh man, all you lucky Californians! Yosemite looks splendid!

Gently back on the horse yesterday with a half hour of easy stair master, half hour of bike, and a lot of upper body. Not sore, so running 13 miles seemed to blow out a lot of the post chemo pain.

Hi everyone! I'm on and off this board it seems, but rarely get to post. It's hard to keep up with some boards since I'm working through treatment! You all continue to be an inspiration! :)

Radiation started Monday, but I ran 8.5 miles last Saturday...slowly. My muscles still don't feel right and a 5 mile run yesterday left me in tears...but I'm pushing through anyway, always do, tears and all. At 4 weeks PFC I'm doing OK all things considered! There hasn't been enough snow for snowboarding lately...but hopeful we will get some this month so I can go. I ran and lifted weights/plyo all though chemo and will continue through radiation. January and February were the hardest since I had a lot of leg edema. Thankfully it is finally starting to clear, but my muscles still don;t have a lot of push.

Congrats Littleblueflowers! Hooray for your half marathon! I may do one in early June...about 7 weeks after radiation ends. Have to see if I end up with the lung inflammation that can hit right then. Usually I do 3-4 of them in the summer, but we'll see how the summer goes. I am signed up for the Red Rock Relay in Moab UT in May - 3 weeks after rads ends. I'd have to do approx 11-13 miles but split into two runs, usually an 8 miler and a 3-5 miler.

Seeing those beautiful Yosemite pics (thanks Octogirl!) reminded me that I still owe you some pics I promised to post from hikes near Canyon De Chelly AZ and that area...so here they are!

The first is Canyon De Chelly from October...the day before my hair fell out from chemo. The next two are from Little White House Canyon about a month ago - it parallels Canyon De Chelly. The last is along the way to Fish Point almost 2 weeks ago...hike up to 7500 feet from 5500 feet to an area that used to be underwater millions of years ago...find fossils there (shells, shark's teeth, shell fossils embedded in rock).
