Guess I wasted a question. Sorry.
-
I won't count that question.
-
16. Let me rephrase the question: does the character appear in a fairy tale?
-
16. Yes, fairy tale.
(I know if you take a guess, you will get it.)
Disney, originally from a German fairy tale, new movies about her. brunette......I hear Ducky coming with the answer (Queen, I think that you don't want to run the next one, lol).
-
I confess that it's the "live action" movie component that's perplexing me at this point....but yeah, waiting to see if someone else feels up to actually guessing the answer. I'll willingly stand aside!
-
Ok good, now we are getting some where because I wondered at one point if I understood what you really meant by that. I mean that there have recently been non-animated movies with this character and there have been action type scenes in them. I knew I confused you somehow, sorry. (Is that live action?)
-
I just looked up the definition of live action: (in filmmaking) action involving real people or animals, as contrasted with animation or computer-generated effects: "a live-action version of the cartoon"
-
I was thinking of "live action" in the sense of, say, Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp, or Maleficent with Angelina Jolie. There may be significant computer effects, as with The Matrix, but the majority of the film involves realio trulio actors interacting with one another in front of a camera.
Want me to keep guessing?
-
Cinderella?
-
pssst....thought she is blonde.
-
not in the original. Haha
Where's ML?
-
LOL is right no blondes. 7 hours ago it was 2am here, I was sleeping.
-
Does the movie involve dwarves?
-
17. Yes, the movie involves dwarves. (You are too funny....)
-
Partly being funny, partly stalling in the hopes that someone else will guess!
-
I think your funny because I thought you have been stalling for awhile now. (I feel like doing the same thing some times...but this one went ok.)
-
Only stalling since I asked about the fairy tale last night. (My error was thinking the character came from a book written in the nineteenth century--Dorothy Gale fits the bill perfectly.)
-
No one is around I guess....I had to look up when her story was written and I found 1800's.
-
Serves me right for fixating on novels; the story originated before the [name redacted] wrote it down, but "nineteenth century or earlier" will do quite well for the time period in which the character appeared. I'm inclined to let someone else take a turn, but will make my official guess if you want to close the game out.
-
Totally up to you. I'm surprised that no one else had gotten it, I think may be everyone wants to be playing and not winning lately, lol.
-
(shrugs)
My official guess is Snow White.
I'll be offline for much of the afternoon--I have a couple of ideas, but if someone else gets inspired, feel free to jump in!
-
Queen did it! SNOW WHITE.
I am sure that more people will show up later, there are time changes to consider and work, etc. But you run good ones Queen so hopefully...
-
But but but but I thought Snow White has black hair and red lips and skin as white as snow.,...
-
Lover: I know, brunette and black aren't quite the same hair color.....
All right, I'll do the next one.
THING
-
1. Made from organic materials ?
-
Oh geez, I don't feel guilty about that one.....
2. Bigger than a bread box?
-
1. Partially/predominantly of organic material.
2. Larger than a bread box.
(Slight clarification: as I understand this thing, there are two basic types of this thing. I'm thinking of only one of the two types.)
-
3. Found mainly indoors?
4. Made of wood?
-
3. Found indoors. Mostly/usually.
4. Wood is the primary material.
-
5. Is it considered a non-standard piece of furniture? (standard would include dining table and chairs, coffee table, bed room furniture, etc)
