Ultrasound guided vacuum biopsy 02/29/16 and waiting...

I went in for my yearly well woman visit on 02/18/16 and was immediate shipped down to the women's diagnostic center for an ultrasound of my left breast. I wasn't worried. I hadn't felt anything there but I don't do regular self exams. The ultrasound tech did her thing then asked me to wait before I put on my clothes so then I began to worry. She came back and said the radiologist wanted me to have a mammogram, my first as I am only 31 and have never experienced any sort of female issues ever. As I was waiting for the mammogram, I was trying to remember what she was saying while she did the ultrasound, "it looks more like it's in the duct than a nodule"... what does that mean?? So then the new tech does the mammogram which was more weird and uncomfortable than painful and then yet again asks me to wait before getting dressed so now I'm freaking out. About 20 minutes later a very sympathetic mammogram technician comes back and says I can get dressed now and my gynecologist's nurse is going to call me that night to let me know how she wants to proceed and verified my phone number. I'm full on panic attack now. This is literally all the information I have been given. So on my way home I get the call; she wants to do a biopsy. They didn't like how the mammogram looked so they want to do a biopsy and are sending me to a surgeon on Monday the 22nd and I'm thinking why are they moving so fast and why aren't they telling me anything. I go to the surgeon who was great and he decides he will do an ultrasound guided vacuum core biopsy on Monday the 29th. At this point I'm just going through the motions. I went into the Women's Diagnostic Center on the morning of the 29th with my mom and older sister and they weren't allowed to come back with me for the procedure. The doctor and ultrasound tech were wonderful they talked to me the whole time and I never felt any pain throughout the procedure except for the tiny prick from the needle when he stuck me with the local anesthetic. Once he began I guess that's when the gravity of it all set in, I closed my eyes and cried the entire time. The doctor talked to me the whole time and was super nice and sympathetic. He said he got 3 good samples and now I am waiting on the call. My breast looks fine, barely bled, minimal bruising and little to no pain. I've been wearing my sports bra since the procedure. I've been showering and the sterile strips are still on and I feel like I'm having a heart attack very time the phone rings. Let me add I am single and have no children and have never been pregnant which worries me too. You know what they say, if you don't use it you lose it Trying to stay positive is HARD!
